TkTest - A GUI Test package for Tcl/Tk

TkTest allows you to generate a GUI test by recording windows events while you use your application and taking data snapshots. The recorded events can be replayed, and the saved snapshots compared to the test application state at runtime. This is an alpha 0.4 release. (More accurately, these are not so much releases as escapes.) It's been known to work, but is not guaranteed to work under all circumstances. If you find a problem (or better, a solution to a problem), I'll be happy to hear about it.

Includes

• Fixed replay problems with menu/checkbutton events.
• Added support for checking window contents

Known Problems:

• Fails to replay/record menu/checkbutton events.
  Believed fixed in 0.3 escape
• Cross platform testing fails on Menubutton on Windows 2K using TOBE.
  This is believed fixed in 0.2 escape
• The section of the paper discussing Menu's on Windows is wrong. When I figure out how the code needs to work, I'll rewrite that paper section.
